for many (most) locations, to do public works, contact the city council of where you want your art displayed. often, it takes some time to get your concept legalized. also, assistance/resources on getting a grant or other assistance may be available depending. so, to be professional about it, basically you have to have like a plan and a miniture of what you want and also be able to back up what you want to do it writing. i know theres professional art/artisan people at this place; im not, but they pro'lly have a better idea. think those drab little green electrical boxes, etc... (much of them in san diego county are already vibrantly un-green!)

If I want to do a class project where graffiti is the end product, would there be any way to bring them down to the wall sometime in mid-October, and have them create their art? Would there be ANY way to guarantee it isn't drawn over for a period of time? We will be looking at identity (high school seniors for their college personal statements) - if anyone has any input, ideas, or would be willing to maybe even come in to the classroom, please email me: edadsetan@hotmail.com

Thanks!
